holy mileage increase!! (look at my cat, page2!!)
well after going from low 17 to now low 19s with a plug and wire change I'm not suprised. (and I in no way have a light foot...I went through about 1/4 a tank in like 40 miles tonight)
my question is, why didn't you do something sooner? 12mpg is horrible.

Total miles travelled on tank [for it to be completely accurate, you would need to use up every last drop of the tank.. but you don't need it to be that accurate, do you?], divided by tank capacity. I know my tank is 18 gallons. Not sure about your'* though.
So, for example, let'* say you got 400 miles on one tank of gas. And you have an 18 gallon tank. 400 / 18 = 22.2 MPG

How do you measure mpg?
that helps me out a lot lol i average 3 gallons a day lol if i drive normal but if i drive my normal its about a quarter a tank a day. i usually hit 80mph for good 20 miles each day lol car maybe old but dang it still gets up and goes cough cough 1ce it gets going cough cough cough. i have actually have seen the needle stop movin and still pulling away. how fast does this car top out at? lol 88 LE how many oxygen sensors are there i know of 1 on the rear exhaust manifold.
207k i bet the orginal sensors are there from mile #1 im go spend gas money on oxygen sensor or 2. replace it or them today while im doin the crankshaft sensor.

Your '88 will only have one. Don't forget to get an AC Delco, NOT a Bosch.
If your car is in full tune.. you may be able to hit 110 without killing yourself. But if your suspension is anything like mine, it won't be comfortable staying at that speed.
If you have the original O2 Sensor with 207k good luck getting it out. A strong hand and some PB Blaster will be required.
