If I were you I'd do a cam. It would be fairly cheap if you did it yourself, and you will see good gains from it. You can sell your 1.9'* and pay for probably more than half of the cost of the cam install. All you'll need is the cam, install kit, and timing chain, and modified retainers if you don't already have them (assuming you get a cam big enough that you need them). 90lb. springs are plenty for any cam you can run with stock heads so no need to upgrade those IMO. That would be your cheapest way to go faster right there.
Other than that I'd say go with an intercooler. I'm not sure why it would cost you $2500 for a good one, you can get ZZP'* for $1100 IIRC and then getting a radiator to fit on the bonneville shouldn't cost you too much more. I don't see why it would cost you more than $1500 all said and done. But $1500 is still a lot of money and for about 1/6 that cost you can put a cam in and gain at least half the power you'd gain from an I/C.
Or, if your satisfied with how it runs, leave it how it is. If you did much more the trans would be my biggest concern and those aren't cheap. So it might not be a bad idea to leave the car how it is now. Its a solid 13 second car, and you enjoy driving it, so is there really a reason to do more to it?

Well, Paul, it'* come to this, huh? I was wondering how far you'd go with your show car. Ultimately, it'* up to you. BUT (!) if I were you, for the sake of drivabilty, yet adding power, I'd just step up to a GEN V. If you wanted, you could always IC it later, or cam, or whatever. You wouldn't have to tear into the motor, yet Rogue has stated that a GEN V adds quite a bit of power, with relatively few mods. As dbtk2 said, the trans will probably be your next biggest concern. I chose to get rid of my bird and get something a little more practical, like a pickup, so the bonnes gonna be the race car. But it'* not gonna be a full out race car, I still wanna pull 30+ mpg while doing 12'*.....or less . That might be asking too much from the car, but it'll be a couple year project so I won't feel it as bad financially. Again, ultimately it'* up to you, but there'* my two cents. I'm tired and heading to bed. Whatever you do will be the right choice.
And from what Matt'* sayin', I'd be worried about him next year....
