Help me decide.

I'm having a hard time making my mind up about future mods to my car.

Where do I go from here. :?

Some have recommended a Cam. With engine having such low mileage, I am reluctant to tear into it.

I have been drooling over an Intercooler but I estimate the total cost of $2500 is higher than I want to spend right now.

I have a line on a Gen V intercooler. $1500 total is close to what I could afford.
The problem I have with this is if I do decide to trade this car in a couple of years from now, it might affect its reliability and resale.....ya like what I have already done won't.

My other option is to do nothing and just enjoy what I have now.

There are so many things I want to do this next year outside of my automotive interests that have to prioritize.

If you were I, what would you do next :?:

Don't do anything more. (that way I can get ahead of you on the 1/4 mile list)

You could always port/polish the living crap out of everything a-la Wren style. Worked out pretty good for him.

Fix your E-brake ;)

....honestly, I would leave it alone... It is an awesome car, and like you said, with so few miles on it, I would enjoy it as is, and see if any other simple, less expensive modifications come up. You could then focus on one of your 'birds, if you decide to do so.

its currently faster than what 95% of the cars on the road? but if it was me I'd go the IC route vs cam. plus it was my understanding on the 3800 if you went cam you pretty much have to go heads as well to get serious performance gains.

Leave it alone and drive it more. ;) Better get that mileage up. We want you to join our 100,000 mile club.

You've already done some valvetrain work on it, so leave that alone for now.

Do the IC and Gen V. YOu're doing anything that's TOO hard to revert back to normal. I'd suggest the Gen V, Intercooler, and a throttle body upgrade/port polish?

Hang back for a while.. nothing wrong with staying status quo for a year. Travis will never catch you this year.

That way since you are unsure.. you can evalutate further.

Resale only goes down if I send the propective new owners pics of your burnouts.

Sit back, and imagine what your car would sound like with cam....

I agree with Boosty, you're already one of the fastest Bonnies on here. Don't bother trying to be the fastest one, Rogue would just one up you again (he works for INTENSE ya know...)

And I do agree Travis won't catch you, I know I will never catch you. I already caught you on the gas mileage.
