Http://www.3800performance.com is the only place I know of where you can get their products. That also home of Scott Cook, with the fastest production bonneville out there (besides the one breaking records in the salt flats). 12.2 1/4 mile in his 2000 SSEi.

put that engine in a gp, and watch it hit mid 11'*

its too bad he isn't a true bonneville owner, all he does is drivetrain work and mostly targets the gp community as his clients.... oh well... if i had a 2k ssei i'd be buying **** right and left from him...

I will see if I can fill in that gap that Scott Cook has left.

Depends. Sometimes you will get better times by putting the car into 2nd gear so that it will not have that temptation to shift to third gear while you are about approx 5k rpm towards the end of the track. But usually OD is not a big deal, we are automatic so it doesn't matter if you try to manually control it, it wont be faster.

I tried leaving it in 2nd for 3 runs and overdrive for 1 run and all 4 runs netted 14.9'* - 15.0'* for me. I didn't see any difference but I did not try drive. I know the GTP'* see a difference so I am not sure if my car is just goofy or not. I was actually surprised to see the consistency the car had. Out of 4 runs my best was 14.00 and my worst was 15.06. The 15.0 pass was because I bogged the car trying not to spin.
