Default Has anyone ever did there own engine flush?
After my oil change I looked at the didstick and it was still dirty. Thyey said I need an engine flush. I want to do this myself if I can cause they said $90 all together for the next oil change and a flush.

do another oil change in a coulpe hundred miles to get the extra stuff out of the oil pan

i would just do another oil change, when i change the cam in my buick,broke the cam in and change the oil again, the oil on the dipstick was nice and clean,

as long as the oil is clean you should be okay. Just try to keep the oil changed every 3,000 miles at least.
