My GXP has 78xxx miles on it so tomorrow ill be changing the plugs, the ? i have is based on experience which ones should i get Autozone has 20 different types...............Thanks Guys and Gals

For stock configuration, Autolite 605'* are fine.

Yep im gonna keep it stock, i do drive alot of highway miles a week (650)

If the factory plugs were iridium, I recommend spending the extra money to replace them with iridium plugs. They last longer than copper (100,000 miles usually) and (just my unsubstantiated opinion, take it with a grain of salt) I believe you will get slightly better fuel mileage out of the iridium compared to copper.

We can't run them in our Boosted cars, but in my NA Bonneville I always preferred to put in the iridium plugs and forget about them for 100,000 miles.

I went with the Autolite double platinum plugs and it only took about 2 hours with help from a neighbor to help with the EGR valve (sucked) and the 2 studs that hold the beauty cover on the rear.......so i see it that is saved myself $250 bucks.

My 2 year old tossed a plug in the engine bay and i also found 2 of the plugs in the rear were coated in oil.

I'm surprised no one chimed in on which plugs to use, or that Autolites were recommended... There have been other threads on this topic either here or bonnevilleclub forums. Seems to me the AC Delco Professional Platinum plugs (Part Number: ACF-41-987) work best and have 100,000 mile intervals. Northstars came with these plugs from the factory.

My neighbor is a tech and said the autolites should be fine and by doing that
i saved $2 a plug
