Default G'Tech'd my Virgin Bonnie for the first time last night...

Last night my friend and I G-Tech'd my stock Bonnie for the hell of it. I was expecting a low 17, given the high milage and need for tune up, etc. Well we ran it once and got 15.98@ 90.1mph . Isn't this time considered very good for a stock '93 SSEi Bonnie?[/b]

I'd say thats about normal.. some of the newer L67'* are in the low low 15'* completely stock .. with minimal mods like pulley/intake you can get into the 14'* fairly easy. Is the bonnie your daily driver or somethin? nice t/a!

This is from the November 1991 Road & Track, it'* for the 92 SSEi. So i'd say the gtech #'* are a bit off. Nice Formula!!!!

There are differences between the 92/93 models. Conditions/launching, etc. can all be factors. Your Gtech can too.

Moving this to performance.

I think someone needs to take their Firebird and their Bonneville to a dragstrip and see what they run. It would be lots of fun, and you would have accurate times. Plus, I wanna see the slips from the Firebird.

LOL... The G-tech is working fine (except for the mph which are always high on the Pro'*). Actually, the G-Tech Pro (old model) doesn't need any pre launched for calibration. Just needs to be mounted and leveled correctly (which it was). Also, the Bonnie had an excellent launch, minumul spin with normal shift mode on. Finally, remember, the G-Tech gives a perfect reaction time, unlike the track
