Gtech Times for Greenzilla.....and questions
You know...I figured out that you have to do a quick 5-10 second acceleration without the tree to get the Gtech to recalibrate if you move it to another location. Helps to read the manual Bill.
Like I said, 12" rollout and Full .500 Tree (don't do Pro-tree).
Then the weight should be 3800-3900lb'* with 6 gallons in the car and just you. I think mine is somewhere in there...no spare, bottle not in trunk, snow tires, nothing else weighing car down.

That 103mph trap speed on your good run seems a little high. I would think that you wouldn't likely break 100 mph on a real strip.
We don't have conditions here at this time of year to even consider a 'run'...lucky you being on the west coast.
Cheers,

Cheers,
The 103 trap was a bit high, but that was last September....when conditions were ideal. However, only 2 days before that, my highest trap wasn't over 100. I should be in the 98-99 range.
Conditions last night were a different story
The whole point of this is to see if anyone else is getting the same inconsistencies with the Gtech as I am. I'd really like to get it hashed out before the July West meet, then be able to run it at the Wilsonville strip for comparison. My car has never been to the track.

Well this is the thing. I have said in the past that I always get inconsistant reading on the G-tech, and all of you told me I wasn't using it properly. I just don't think it is entirely accurate, or consistant with itself. When it was new it was pretty consistant, but I don't know if it just got moved around to much or what but it isn't very consistant from what I have found. I ran a 15.334 @ 89.7 (which seemed about right), then without even moving it other than hitting the OK button, i followed it up with a 12.1.
That is just my personal opinion on why I prefer the track. Sometimes it is very obvious when the times are inaccurate, but what if they just aren't far enough off for you to notice...how do you know the times are accurate. Thats my problem. At least at a track you know the numbers are fairly close.
