Gtech Times for Greenzilla.....and questions
Ok....so here'* the deal. Last September, I ran some pretty good times. This was right after my exhaust (in October), and I haven't done anything fancy under the hood since then. I ran pretty good....and was curious tonight, so I ran some times in crappy conditions on the way home. What I want to do here is see if any of this makes sense.
My last POSTED time was:
2 days later, I recorded (but didn't post) this:
60' was 2.657, 1/8 was 9.7 @ 79.44, 0-60 was WORSE at 7.104 :( Go figure THAT one out. This launch recorded 0.588 G'*.
TONIGHT, I ran this:
60' was 2.615 (I doubt it, it was raining, and conditions were shitty), 1/8 was 10.267 @72 (more believable considering the bad launch), 8.033 0-60 (again makes sense), with a 0.470 G launch (hard to believe considering the spinning wheels).
I was running with a full tank, and alot of tools in the back from the weekend, too.
My question is.......considering the conditions these were run at (GREAT and CRAPPY), do the times ring true? Close?

Admit it, you're old and hate technology!
Takes 5 seconds to set it up, plus you will get REAL drag racing 1/4 mile times. Performance shmoremance.

I don't know what it is about those numbers, but there is just something making me think it is B.*. The difference in trap speed is rediculous. One of those two times is incorrect anyways. I don't care how much different your launch was, there would have to be a HUGE difference to lose 18mph. Thats like spinning up to the 1/8 mile or something if that were right. Recalibrate the G-Tech and do another run. I ran a 12.1@ 140 in my STE in December...obviously that number was way off. And it was like 8 seconds 0-60 and 10.5 in the 1/8. WAY OFF. I guess the calibration was just slightly off, and it messed it up that much.

Keep in mind the two images are WAY different conditions. It was very wet last night, and I couldn't hook up. Running 40psi in the tires, and full of gas and tools. My launch was hilarious.
I'm more concerned with the 2-day difference between what'* in my sig and the 103mph trap.
Now you see the variation I'm getting from this thing? The only thing NOT varying is my hp numbers. And they seem right, but I've refrained from posting them until I get this figgered out. I would expect at LEAST the times to be more accurate.
