well i finally broke down and got those 1.9:1 rocker arms the other night
. i alsoordered some comp cams 105# valve springs and retainers. i'll be heading down a little more south in the state so a buddy of mine can put them on. then back to athens to flog some unsuspecting ricers

3800 performance, I-WINs, '96-'97 cars can't use things from the LS6 vavletrain. the heads are different than the '98-03 cars

You're gonna like them that'* for sure. They'll definitely hlep with that 3.4" pulley. I'm not sure you're gonna hit 8'*, but you will definitely be very close. Can't wait to see the results.

! i'm pretty sure about 8.90'* cause the 9.23 is on street tires w/ a 2.16 getting that to a 2.0 or even a 1.9 w/ slicks should be a mindless task. that alone should net 9.0-9.1'*. not to mention at least 20 more of 'em under the hood

some rule of thumb things est. brought me to the conclusion of upper 8'*:
now - 9.23 w/ a 2.16
.1sec '60 = @ .2 on the other side
10hp = @ .1
2.16 to 2.0(conservitavely?) = @ 9.0-9.1
+20hp = @ 8.8?-8.9
now - 9.23 w/ a 2.16

While that is true, IIRC that is what you'd see in a 1/4 -not sure how much you'd drop in the 1/8 ....my guess/estimate would be around .14 to .16.
Either way I know that'd put you right into the heart of LT1 territory.
well, honestly, i'm already in there because i ran a guy i work that has a '93 LT-1 w/ flows, K&N, and a tune at midnight madness in h-ville. twice he fell by @ a car length and once i only had about a hood on him. this is on an 1/8 mi.
thats when i was doing 9.36
