Default Genesys computer reprogrammer

Does anyone have any experience with this system? My in-laws have a repair shop, and this tool. I have played around with it, but when I chose the reprogramming feature, it told me to read GM manual 511727 (Reprogramming bulletin). When I chose continue, it appeared to start to reflash my PCM w/o any prompts. Needless to say, I pulled the plug before anything happened.

Anyone out there use this before? If so, what can you do with it? It has the Pathfinder 2001 program and all the hardware keys, including the GM reprogrammer.

Thanks in advance!

No, I did a Google search and couldn't find anything on it.
