Why did pontiac discontinue this option? i thought it was very creative

I know that the struts can't be found anymore, I would have to guess reliability reasons.

When I test drove a 97 SSEi 5 months after I bought my 97 SSE I checked out everything. The whine noise was a lot louder in there than my SSE now, and the CCR did work. It was on Performance Ride already but when I pushed Normal ride the suspension loosened up.
