Default FWI Installed!!

i ended up using this beautiful Dayton day to install my FWI (i have to work a 7pm to 7am shift tonight). It was a great day! Washed and Detailed the car . . . ripped out the restrictive stock intake and put in a full four foot of four inch INTENSE tubing. i was suprised that i used the entire amount but it just seemed to work out good that way. i also kept the original ~45 Degree stock elbow that has the IAT sensor in it. i modified it by trimming the large flange to fit inside the four inch tubing and the other end fit snugly over the 9" K&N. ithe install wasn't all that difficult looking back. i will have pic'* in the future (my wife let her parents in Cleveland borrow our digital camera) once i get our dig cam back.

i still have to mount the CPU down somehow. i can't really make up my mind how to do it. i heard we could get a box from an *-10?!?!?

i did take it for a ride and it sounds great. at first i was a bit worried because it sounded like it was gurguling water at idle, but once i opened it up on the road it was a fine supercharger air rushing whine!

Now i have to scrape together $800+ for the SLP header set. that'* my next mod, unless someone else has a better idea.

Glad you like it!

Headers would be a great addition.

Headers will be a great addition to what you got.
The FWI is really a simple intake to do.
