Default Flamer thrower exhaust

I'm thinking about adding some flames to my exhaust, but I don't know if there any draw backs to doing this. Could anyone tell me if they're any cons to doing this mod?

for a show car ehhhh maybe you risk burning your bumper up and/or possible fuel leaks that could cauce a real flame show. i would advise you to not bother wih it, its just to much that can go wrong the cons far outweigh the pros just my .02

X2,.... I toyed with the idea of exhaust flame throwers as well. Decided against it after seeing what it did to a rear RX-7 fiberglass body kit. Our exhaust sits to close to the plastic bumper. I noticed in your sig you have NOS as well. I am presently trying to figure out what to do with blistering that has occured to my custom paint job above the tailpipes. Seems there is already some flamage going on. It'* hard to tell from pic but the bumpers is also melted inward a little. My shop says they can fix and blend the paint where it is melting. I am thinking of having them fab some stainless inserts above the exhaust. Car is filthy from a road trip.
