Default first mods?

Ok fellas, just got a 2000 SSEi, about 80k on it and bone stock. eventually want a 13 second daily driver. What mods can I do to eventually reach that mark? Any advice y'all can give would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I'm rather new to modding... only things on that list I know are: Exhaust, Pulley, cam

What is a CAI and PCM?

CAI= Cold Air Intake (rice pipe with a filter)
-theres also FWI (FenderWell Intake) wich end in the fender.

PCM= your ecu (you can make it reprogrammed by intense(shift higher rpm, shift harder,
etc..)

You don't need a cam for a 13 second daily driver. With a cam, 12'* are possible.

Take it slow, and start out by opening up the intake and exhaust. Then move on to the pulley and PCM. Then move on to rockers and springs, and you should be easily in the 13'*.

There'* tons of places to go to get these parts. Just don't get a pulley until that exhaust and intake are opened up.

Misc. things you'll need are colder spark plugs, as well as a colder thermostat.

Any questions, we can answer them. We have quite a few members with these kind of mods.

wow, thanks for all the tips. about exhaust though, is there a big difference between say TOG and SLP? header'* wise, i mean...and what are your favorite cat back exhaust? also, who makes a good cai? i live on a dirt road, so i need both good filtration and airflow...maybe dual air filters? any ideas?
