Your stock exhaust is fine. What you can change is the muffler for better sound, no performance upgrade there. A free flowing cat will help, 3" downpipe, and headers. But you have a stainless 2.5" exhaust, no need to change it. I'm still on stock from the res back.

i was told on the 2000+ the exhaust was 2.5 from front of cat to front of resinator, the 2.25 from the back of the resinator to the tips. the GXP was 2.5 all the way back from down pipe, is this correct? I have both exhausts here and am putting the GXP one on today so i will check it out for sure

That sounds right, does anyone know what the size of the pipes are after the Y split for each muffler? I've been thinking about putting my resonator back in and throwing some Magnoflow mufflers on when I put a new downpipe and cat in

I'm not sure which is worse, that someone made that, or that someone actually put it on their car.
