Exhaust Recommendation
Hi, i've a 94' Bonneville SSEi and i've order a 2.5" pulley for the SC and already install a perform air intake. I want to install a 3" exhaust downpipe to muffler, but i'm not sure if I buy a high-flow cat-converter or simply remove it. Same thing for the Resonator. I would like to have a max of performance but keep a good sound and I want minimum cab resonance on the highway. What is the best/cheapest setup you recommend, cat-resonator-muffler
Thanks

Your english is good. Where are you located?
A magnaflow high flow cat will help you greatly. Especially if you have the original catalytic converter.
Many find that removing the resonator is a mistake and causes the car to sound like a Honda with a grapefruit shooter exhaust.

There'* a great thread which I'll see if I can locate for you where the various cat options have been discussed. I'll edit this post with it soon as I find it.
The general concensus has been to use the Magnaflow 94006 model for our car. Regarding the resonator, our local Series 1 guru, Willwren mentions that he ADDED a resonator whenever this topic comes up.... so like Boosty said, you don't want to delete it.

That'* why exhaust sound is in the ear of the beholder. But I think we can safely say that it is not necessary to remove the resonator to gain performance, since I believe that is what the question was.
3" down pipe - sure
Hi-Flow cat - sure
resonator delete - not necessary

Definitely use a high flow catalytic convertor (available at www.justmagnaflow.com or on ebay -either place it'* under $60 with free shipping if you are in the US).
Also, I'd higly recommend a resonator -I go to Club Grand Prix Exhaust mod days quite often and I've heard many without and many with the resonator, and the guy'* who go without a resonator almost always regret not using one after hearing it without one for the first time.
