Muffler alone will cost you around 80 total including shipping. I dont know what model Magnaflow muffler it is, but this Flowmaster will fit. It is what I got and several others have here.

A good set of tips will cost around 40.

So look at spending over 200 US dollars for installation and all the pieces. You can always get tips later if you wanted though.

Magnaflow F-body mufflers (Camaro and Firebirds) work on Bonnevilles

any f-body muffler will work.....but flowmaster seems to be a little cheaper (depending on place)

389-42583 1982-85 Camaro Z28/Firebird Trans Am: 80 Series, 2.5''In/2.5'' Dual Out - 80 Series $72.99

thats at jegs.com
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...08&prmenbr=361

can't complain for $72.99

for tips....make sure you go STAINLESS STEEL....or you'll probably regret it later like me....and i still paid $60 for a pair or tips!

The tips on my 2004 look like they are aluminum and have a light oxidation. I am thinking of having them chrome plated as it looks like the tips can be removed easily. Anyone else have their tips chrome plated?

I was told to stay away from chrome by the muffler shop. They tend to rust easily and get funky fast. Stainless Steel is probably the best choice.

Chrome plating the aluminum would work but not worth the trouble and expense IMO.
Get some good aluminum polish and buff them up with a little elbow grease.
