Yeah, I got the alum. framed gaskets and the APN kit already.
Read the posts thouroughly about porting the LIM. Ported one on my GTI years ago. Gasket matching job though. Hey quick question for you. Argazalea?? and zilla both showed pics. Why are the runners on Zilla'* smooth and Arga... rough. They mentioned I would have to remove the head to smooth the runners as zilla did?????
Yeah I know PEM means ported exhaust manifold. How do they do it? Gasket matched or ? Also would like to know where to get a set of PEMs.
So far I've got the FWI from intense along with 180* stat, and also the standars PCM. Also er rockers. and kits mentioned above. Waiting for LIM from Morad. Also have the thrasher shift kit(stage 2). Just wanted to make sure I get the "outflow" correct for these mods to be supported. That is why I was wondering if I could get by with just the cat(Lazy I guess). But I suppose with the top half of the engine removed would be easier to get at the exhaust manifolds IF I had to do PEM'*. All parts are in my office and waiting for the weather to change before I tear into her.
Your thoughts or advice?

Hey Will,
Good to see you again. So, dex is more corrosive than the prestone hey? Guess I'll add the coolant replacement to the list to. Thanks.

My runners are rough, partly because I'm not convinced the effort is worth the benefit, but mostly because I've been a lazya$$.
I probably won't even put that ported LIM on for at least another month, so I'll probably get around to smoothing the runners in my own slow, methodical (i.e., lolly-gagging) way.
You don't have to remove the heads for smoothing the LIM runners...
karldergrosse, your upgrade path and that for my 98 LeSabre sound eerily similar, except I'm getting a Tuner instead of a pre-tuned PCM. Also, I am not yet convinced (that is, I have not seen one iota of data anywhere) that any n/a L36 mod or combination of mods (short of perhaps an aggressive cam) would benefit from any air filter/intake pipe/TB mod of any kind over stock, nor from any exhaust mods beyond a ported (front only) exhaust manifold or Powerlog and perhaps a high-flow cataytic converter (though I highly doubt the cat).

karldergrosse, let me know how those ER'* work out. I was thinking about running them with an Intense PCM in the future on stock springs/rods. I emailed Zoomer and he said there wouldn't be any issues, but I'd like to know if you're running a stock upper other than the ER'* effectively. Thanks!

Also karldergrosse, are you going to use stock valve seals?
I love my er rockers. The car pulls much harder from 4000 on. Picked up 3 tenths and about 2.5 mph in the quarter. I would say definently worth the money. Ps that was with just a cai, underdrive pulley, and mufler. So the more mods you ahve the more you will benefit with the rockers.

Agrazela,
Not planning on doing the seals. ZZperf did't state it was necessary. According to them I can use stock lifters, springs and rods. Didn't mention anything about seals though.
Allmachtige,
Will let you about perf. Probably be a month before I start the mods.
