To be specific, that'* an Edelbrock MUFFLER. Not an Edelbrock exhaust.
And that'* twice the price of a Magnaflow or Flowmaster, and I can assure you that nobody on this forum (10,000 members) can tell you from personal experience what it would sound like on a Bonneville. Nobody has tried it here.
From a performance standpoint, there isn't a muffler on the market that will benefit you. Only sound will be affected. It takes ALOT of work to get to the point that the muffler is a restriction.

i am defintely wanting good sound... thats most important to me. The muffler is like 111.. the cheapest I found a Flowmaster 80 was about 80...
No mufflers ond good on the 3800?
Im looking for the big "v8" throaty, not "pop pop pop" sound though.
I figured with the SC it might sound good...

My flowmaster 80 is throaty... but poppy too and I like it
Friend'* say it sounds excellent, haven't met one person that didn't ask me to get on it yet out of about a dozen ppl lol.

A kid at my high school had a GTP with flowmasters and it sounded good at idle but sounded terrible over 2000 rpms. I'm sure the series of flowmaster makes a big difference though. A V6 will never sound like a V8 so you will just have to accept that. No muffler that you buy will transform your engine.
Magnaflow is 'rumblier' and less poppy and high pitched than flowmaster, ESPECIALLY if you add a resonator. 92/93 did NOT get one from the factory, resonators are only 94 and newer.
I prefer magnaflow.
Let'* not compare non-supercharged exhaust impressions. They sound quite different with the same muffler.
