wow - you sure know how to pick em

but seriously, glad to hear that you've finally got some evidence on your side - sounds like things will get better from here on out. and that 3k should help offset some of the extra 'costs', eh?

good luck!

So I decided to check out my injectors today. I went outside and hooked up a pressure gauge to the fuel line. Turned the key and let the system pressurize. 45psi....43psi...42...40...39...37...ahhhh ****. So I take a minute and pull the fuel rail and suspend it above the ports with little paper towels under each one. Energize the pump and watch..... Nothing.... except the pressure going down. So now I'm thinking "Wtf? Stupid *** FPR??" I dunno maybe I'm just not getting the return line fuel system. Just then my phone rings, its the Lab. They separated the oil sample and ran an analysis on it and what do ya know...its not gas! Yup, they tested it and I know something is there but its not gasoline! You could smell what smelled like gas while I was pouring it in, the lab tech even said you can smell gas. But whatever it is isn't gas. So lets see, I have a gasoline engine with oil. Its not oil, its not gasoline, it sure as **** didn't come from my car! But don't jump out of your seats yet. I've ordered a mass spectral analysis on it, awful pricey but worth it. That should be able to tell us exactly what is in there. I'm excited but not too excited. He didn't say it but from experience, if it looks like a cookie and smells like a cookie, it could be a brick. if that makes sense to anyone. Hopefully things start looking up and I walk away with a better engine than I came in with haha.

Yeah no kidding. No, its smells just like gas but could be kerosene or diesel anything else like that. You could smell it real strong, they tested for gasoline, came back negative. Interesting findings.

heh yeah I wanna update as much as you! Well as of yet I took the pictures of the crank to kinko'* and had them zoomed in and printed out, when you're holding the pictures side by side its VERY obvious they're the same. I had 3 friends look them over and its really obvious. I also picked up the first analysis of my oil sample which shows a fuel dillution of 0.000%, interesting but I knew that. The mass spectral analysis (expensive "What the hell is it?!" test) will be done in 5-7 working days and that'll be the damning evidence. I have an initial consultation with a lawyer Friday and I'm going to have her help write a demand letter for compensation. I haven't fully decided how much I'm seeking but under state law I'm alloted 3x the amount of damages. So we have a destroyed engine x 3 = ? heh. Thats kind of just the starter. The evidence is really mounting against him to include 4 witnesses that will stand in court with me. I'm going to give him one chance to settle out of court, if denied I'm going to throw everything I have at it so it should be interesting. Should rename this to DrJay'* Performance *** Kicking In Court haha. Anyway I'll keep you guys updated as I find things out. Thanks for keeping interest!

i dunno,
to me, it honestly sounds like the crank is bent. that would explain why it took out the bearings that quick. even is its bent just a few thousands, it would do that.
