Default Disconnect Battery from vehicle?

I bought my car not too long ago. Before me, it was driven by an old lady. Will disconnecting the battery for 15 mins or so do anything to improve my idle, or performance or anything? Or does the PCM adjust to driving styles by itself (or does it at all)?

You can disconnect it and the PCM should then relearn everything. Chances are whatever it is doing now is exactly the same as what it will relearn. :?
