Could KR be that dramatic..........and what could cause it if not an erroneous program :?:
Another comment from DHP :
One other thing. The recovery rate for KR in this file is set to above average but not
on KILL! Are you getting a big KR spike at 128 mph? With a slow recovery rate
this would make the car feel pretty slow

A good bit of KR can make your car feel like it falls on its face and normal KR recovery is very slow (1 point every 5 seconds or so). Even if you got 4-5 KR on your way to 4th gear it could be 20 second before you get full timing back (if your not getting any more KR). I think you should get the car scanned and see what your up against before jumping to conclusions on the PCM. I have about 5 degree of KR in the 5000+ rpm range even with rockers and headers. We have yet to figure out why. My KR recovery rate is dramatically faster than stock so it doesnt effect me as much as it did. Have you tried race gas (100+) to see if it helps?
The DHP gives advanced timing so this could be compounding your problem if your getting KR to begin with.
A scan would really help here

I bought some Toluene last weekend.
I can't buy any race gas where I live. :(
Further trial will have to wait now because I'll be in Chicago this weekend for a few days and then over to Ontario to visit relatives until June 2, so I'm going to be off the BC air for the next couple of weeks.
