okay, this isn't a performance thing, but...

manually downshifting your transmission is not bad for it! really! honestly!

How about the magnet that you put around your fuel line to help atomize the fuel while it'* in the lines? I wish I could find a URL but food is more important right now

ok i heard about a coil of gas line in a tin can with a light... dont know of anybody who commercially sells this, but ive heard of people asking mechanics to make this crap.

oh yeah the magnet thing. Gas is nonpolar so magnets do absolutly nothing.

ohhh i forgot 1... floz superchargers... Dont buy these, from what ive heard they always either fail or show no power increase.

If that'* the item that Casper'* sells, it does work, but it really isn't designed for N/A engines. It was initially developed for boosted engines, specifically the GN'*. The idea is: if you get into detonation or knock problems during a full zoot run, you can back down the throttle a little and still stay in fuel enrichment mode. It does work for that application, and I have one on my turbo motor. If it is sold as a performance booster, I agree it really isn't, it'* more of a bandaid for a system out of balance.
