haha nice strip, i do love how much the 280 ft-lbs of torque comes in handy =p

the box is made out of plastic, all nice and formed....and then wrapped with the insulation

Aha, you did go the plastic route, then wrapped it. Cool. I'm on track then... It'* just a matter of what car its going in at this point.

i was also wondering about acrylic or plexiglass boxes... any idea about how well those do? Any idea what is the easiest material to make the box out of?

The beauty of the CAI is they are all about originality.

I had thought along the same lines with the plexi of bending it then making another one to go over insulation.
