Why does zzp include a prebent dipstick if it'* only a problem on h bodies?

On club GP it usually ends up who you talk to. Being the ones who own *&* say they are sweet and the ones that own TOG'* or SLP'* say they are crap. BUT I'll tell you what I know:
PROS:
-Cheep
-I heard that *&* have great customer service
-Looks
CONS:
-Most people that hate them it is because of where the O2 is located. (Kinda near the end of the crossover) They say that it will end up making the rear cillinders run lean.
*Personally I just have mine stock manifolds ported. Why? It was cheeper then headers and it is a proven fact that with headers you will lose ft. lbs. on N/A cars.

I just think that if you don't have a major power adder of some kind it'* a waste of money. In terms or performance.
But if your focusing on making your engine bay look hot then i guess it'* not a waste of money?

Really? I hadn't heard that. So with my L36 headers would be less efficient? Maybe I need to look for a pair of junkyard manifolds and get out the Dremel. Anything else I should know?
Dremel.... that'* not gonna work too well on the cast iron front. and to port the rear, you need to grind out the welds inside the ports and re-weld them on the outside.
I'm gonna try and sell mine in the spring for $175 plus shipping *shameless plug*
I've got a zzp ceramic coated rear manifold(all the real porting done to it) and crossover and a WPI front ported manifold with black high temp paint.
I think zzp has thier manifolds on backorder. But you can get good high temp painted ported manifolds at http://www.winterhalterperformance.com/ for $210

Wow, thanks for the link... you learn something every day. Please keep me posted about whether or not you're going to get rid of your manifolds. I might be interested. Depends on price and my cash sitchamacation at that point. Those Winterhalter mani'* sure look like a good investment. Anybody know if their horsepower claims are at the crank or at the wheels?
I'm not sure about the hp gain but it'* the most you can get from pems since they do all the porting work possible. Maybe 7 to 10? the manifolds are the most restrictive part of the exhaust.
I think over in gp land people were getting .3 to .4 off thier 1/4 mile with pems.

That'* a heck of a gain in 1/4 times for a little porting. That'* probably the SC guys though, isn't it? Still, I need to get my hands on a set. I've been posting here for about six months and have never known that headers are overkill for the NA cars. I'm glad I inquired before going out and grabbing headers I don't need.
Now the only problem is that I'm adding more power to my motor while my tranny remains stock. With over 110,000 miles on it I have to wonder how much longer it will stay alive. I think it'* time for a tranny cooler.
