Well i think HE knows what he'* talking about. And i apreciate that your trying to help me out but i'm going to keep going as planned. I really don't think i'm wasting any money whatsoever with this burn. I only did a few basic things that have been PROVEN to help my supporting mods.

If Zoomer told you where to shift without knowing either the cam specs nor looking at a dyno I wouldn't have much respect for his opinion.

I'm not going to say 6100rpm is good or bad, I don't know how your mods affected your engine but...You never, ever, ever, (ever), want to take a wild guess on where your power band is and pick your shifts. Think of the power curve as an upside down U. It goes up, then comes down. Shift early and you never use that peak HP, shift late and you've already passed it. A few 100rpm can make a sizeable difference. You really can't do something like this without having a dyno.

If you do go with it you might FEEL like you're faster because of the force of the momentum at 6100rpm shifting, but do an accurate 1/4mile run and if you're off you'll be slower. And I'm sure anyone not trying to sell you something will agree with that.

Zoomer sells the GT cam.....
This is more than just a guess and this is not new territory. I don't get what the big deal is. But, like i said before, if your trying to look out for me thanks.

From intense:
INTENSE™ Stage 1 PCM - $169.99 plus $100.00 core charge*
Ideal for cars modded with mild aftermarket camshafts (i.e. INTENSE™ Stage 1 or 1X or ZZP VS) and the appropriate supportive mods - features speed limiter removal, cam-specific shift points (~6,300 RPM)** and rev limiter (6,500 RPM), proprietary transaxle shift behavior adjustments**, air/fuel adjustments, automatic enhanced ignition timing adjustments (+4°), knock retard decay rate adjustment, cooling fan control adjustments (160°), cooling fans on at key-off for 180 seconds, slightly increased idle speed (+100 RPM), elimination of random/multiple misfire, coolant temperature, inefficient catalyst, EGR and EVAP system trouble codes, will require the use of premium fuel. Note: since this PCM automatically commands additional ignition timing, it is wise to initially tune your car with a larger supercharger pulley.

How far off am i?

You're only off by the distance to a dyno. We're not busting you here. DrJay and I run chips that we didn't dyno for. Someone else did it for us. You don't have that luxury. You have the nasty hybrid PCM that nobody wants to support. That puts you in uncharted territory.

Our suggestion to you is not to take anyone'* word for it. Do it right, or you might miss. Even if it'* by only 200 or 300 rpms, it can make a big difference.

Who did it for you? Not jet, the actual person?

Rasing my shifts and adding 3 degrees is not un charted territory for my engine.
I'm not burning a chip with a mystery maf table or something.
It'* as simple as upping my shifts as directed by zoomer(through e-mail), by intense'* pcm, and by success stories on clubgp.
Then advancing my timing 3 degrees which is one degree less that intense pcm i posted.
If the end result of the pcm is the same (raise shifts to 6100 and advance timing 3 degrees), which it will be, i can't see having any trouble.
I think your blowing this way out of proportion and i think i'm on the right track.
Since i'm going to do what i orginally wanted, i'll post how things go.

Ok, lets see some before and after dyno numbers so we can compare and see who'* right!

(that isn't going to work, is it?)

Why shouldn't i listen to people who make a living by getting the most out of these engines?

Really, no sarcasim, thanks for giving a sh!*. But seriously I think i made a good decision.
And with proof for this simple modifications being benifical, i'm gonna sleep well tonite.
