I have a 2001 Bonneville SE, and I was just wondering if the same supercharger that is on the SSEi'* could be installed on an SE. If so, approximately how much would a new one cost and where could I find one?

Correct....there'* more than just a new engine being dropped in...I talked with Boosty a few weeks ago and he mentioned things I don't remember ...tranny, wireing harness...not sure exactly what, but it was definitely more than just a new engine.

there is no need for a whole engine swap, you can do just a top end swap, heads, blower, bracketry, fuel rails, etc..

YOu could add turbo for about the same money and effort.

I think dbtk2 did a top end swap for pretty cheap.

All my mods combined cost about the same as a BASE turbo kit, which only puts a w-body car in the high 13'*, so in an h-body you're talking a low 14 second car. With a launch and injectors so I can drop pulleys, my car will run 11'*...

Yes, my complete topend swap, with all fluids, gaskets, oil filters, and my brand new XP cam, springs, retainers, timing chain, tensioner, etc..., ran me just a hair under $1300. Thats including a ported blower and machined LIM as well. The cam stuff alone was $600....a topend swap is pretty cheap as long as you look around a little bit for the parts.

As far as gains, with no tuning, it brought the car from a 14.63 @ 92.8 N/A to a 13.22 @ 102 with the M90 & XP cam. I'm sure with some tuning and race gas it would've gone easy 12'*.
