I got to thinkin...

C5 Vette brakes on the front of my '98 SSEi. :thinker:


I went to a pick-a-part and it looks like the '01+ Monte Carlo uses a front hub/spindle that will both mount to the stock strut and allow the use of C5 Vette (or SS/WS6) front calipers.

Has anything like this ever been done?



Also, with this swap, I could possibly use F-body carriers which have the 5/4.75in bolt pattern, versus the stock 5/4.50in bolt pattern. But what about my rear drums? Hmmm...


Anyone have any good ideas or resources? Anything is appreciated.
