Whiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneee

Yes, some prefer to post about a year ago to change their car piece by piece to a SSEi basically. Other prefer to keep their car stock and some want to change and swap motors and things.

Opinions were asked. I gave one. Take it or leave it... no need to jump up and down though...for that we got this guy.

well Bill im not, when you look at the costs and all the factors:
condition of your car
milage of your current car
and trade in value of your current car,

ypou would actually be spending more $$$$ buying another car than swapping a L67 in there. If you get the L67 and trans with the harness and the PCM from the same year its a direct swap

you just cant say....well just go buy another car.....you have to look at each person and car differently....a blanket statement wont work on this situation

and i stand by my words wholehartedly..if anyone wants to discuss further please post

Exactly!!! Get a turbo kit for $4k, bolt that on to your L36 and run 12'*.....you wouldn't have to go throught he trouble swapping it, and in the end you'd have a much quicker car. Although, with an SSEi you do get a lot more little toys that are fun to play with, the better steering, and all that, which might make it worthwhile to buy an SSEi, but if you're just worried about going fast then definately go with a Turbo!

It would still be a lot cheaper than swapping in an L67 & tranny, and then making it run 12'*.

Hmm 1000$ for L67 with tranny swap, or 10000$ for SSEi? I know which I'd do.
The swap is a little more daunting though. Too many wires and hoses to keep track of for me, and I'm a sucker for a BOV.
If you mod the L36 or the L67 you're going to need to work up the tranny either way.

ya know it pisses me off everytime some one suggests this......not everyone wants to have the look of the SSEi, and some love there car, and dont want to trade it....

take me for example, i bet that i can not find a SSEi (92-95) in the shape my car is in and the close to the miles i have on it ...so why would i trade??? just swap....

We don't know what this man is going to do. Its our opinions. He is going to do whatever he want at the end anyway. We are just trying to get our post counts up, lol!
