Default built L36 or L67

So im sitting here thinking about making my car faster..
Knowing that i have an L36, this puts a damper on my options and makes modding for REAL gains expensive.
Do you guys think its worth saying Screw the L36 and swap in a used L67 and 4t65-e HD and go from there?

Well, it'* cheaper to mod an L67 to get a lot of power out of it. However, you'd have to buy an L67, which wouldn't be too cheap, and then you gotta go through the hassle of swapping it in.

It'* a tough choice.

Im thinking you can do the swap for prolly around 2-3k with installation. You can get used L67'* for under a grand at junkyards easily

???? Head gaskets? We don't blow head gaskets, and you would swap in intact.

ya know it pisses me off everytime some one suggests this......not everyone wants to have the look of the SSEi, and some love there car, and dont want to trade it....

take me for example, i bet that i can not find a SSEi (92-95) in the shape my car is in and the close to the miles i have on it ...so why would i trade??? just swap....
