Performance, Brainstorming & Tuning Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

Budget performance upgrades? What are some?

noting from the state of knowledge he has right now....i dont think this would be the greastest mod for him to look into right now
You make a valid point, but if he'* asking, I assume it means he'* also willing to go a little outside of his element.

No, it enters the UIM too far behind the throttle plate and IAC passage. Mr. Speedy, do you live near any other members? Team up with someone on a Saturday. You'll boost your knowledge and confidence level in a big way.

Edit:

Oil Change
Seafoam everything
New 02 Sensor
New spark plugs
New screws for pieces that are falling apart in the interior
Removing the front bumper to repair & possibly sand to prep for re-painting
The things you listed restore lost power. Do do those things before you add power. Exaust, cold air intake, and 180 t- stats add power.
