The adjustable TPS ( slotted holes ) is about 30 bucks. Be aware I did have a higher idle after I got finished with the TPS mod.

Ok, let me get this clear. I loosten the (3) 10mm bolts and push DOWN on the solenoid? What do I turn, as the GP article does not mention turning anything but the bolts.

This may be the reason why my dads Ultra has TONS of throttle response when compared to my car.

You don't have to urn anything to do the BBS adjustment, just loosen the bolts, and push down, and tighten the bolts and let go. Simple as that, and that really woke up my 199k mile motor.......As for the TPS mod, I did it to my car, but in the article you can't run your idle voltage at .74 or whatever is says, because your car will never idle back down my up to temp idle was about 3400 rpms.....nope sorry, too high for my blood. I ended up having to back my idle down to under .5 volts to get my in park idle down to 1500 rpms. In gear it idles at 1000 rpms. I like the response I get with the idle like that, but I don't care for how the tranny first engages into Reverse or Drive.....feels a lil too much like a neutral bomb sometimes. So I think I may lower it a lil more. But both the mods did feel worth whiloe to me. My 2 cents for what it'* worth.

The TPS mod takes acouple of start/run/stop '* to get the idle back where it'* supposed to be. For me it was start the car, let the idle settle on an rpm, drive it alittle while, shut it down and start over again. After 7 of the above, the idle smoothed out to a fully warmed up 700 rpm (500rpm in park) and since it hasn't gone back up at all.

My idle is now at 0.7 volts and my WOT is 4.5 volts, right on the money!!

Well I just went outside and did this mod it took me about 5 minutes and it moved about a good half inch and then put everything back together then took it for a cruise and I would have to say the boost sure loads up a hell of a lot faster

By doing this mod would it use more gas even if you just drive normaly and would anything else happen to the car such has idle change for example would it benfit to put it back to where it would be orginally for highway driving because I drive on the high often would you save gas

not trying to revive a dead thread but i dound this one and tried it, and all i can say is wow. I thought i loved a supercharged car but now i know i love a supercharged car. the response is awesome and anyone who hasnt done this yet should so do it. So easy and for so much more power. Mine was all the way up!!!!

on the bottom of the bcs is a metal rob w/ a flat piece of metal on the end.
will raising this up help, or hurt. i already modified the bcsand it moved about 3/8".
just wondering if it was moved more would it hurt :?:

That is the BCA that you moved. You shouldn't play with that rod or metal piece. They are roughly $100+.

The BCS is the little thing in front with the electrical connection.

I really like the mod, I just did it here about 5 mins ago. It took me longer to get the tols out of the garage han to actually do the mod. There is a very noticeably difference once the car says it is running ~+3 lbs boost it really starts to kick in.
