to keep from stacking the acetone would it not just be easiest to figure out how many OZs to a gal you need like .25oz to 1 gal so if you add 4 gal or 10 you will keep the same ratio that you had mixed in the last tank

Where ya been, Lakeville? Do a search for "toluene" and you'll see how much this has been discussed. Tested by many here and proven to be effective.

There'* alot more information here on Toluene than just that post. I've been using it and posting about it for as long as I've been toying with water injection. I've given my spreadsheet to a friend at work, and he now uses it in his little toy:

Both have the benefit of reducing KR. Water Injection goes much further. Running them in conjunction isn't necessarily a benefit, partly because you don't run WI all the time. It'* not practical. WI has intercooling and cleaning effects, and allows for a more efficient burn. Toluene only tackles part of the problem (octane of the fuel) but does it better than anything else, including water injection.

I'll be running Toluene in the gas, and a 50/50 water/methanol mix in my injection this summer. That should give me the best edge against KR and some good intercooling effects.

You know you can get some more horsepower if you got a little bottle of nitro methane to dump into your 50/50 mix

Remember that link I posted above? The dragster? Chris dumped nitro-methanol in favor of Toluene. He tested both at Woodburn last summer, and found the Toluene to work better for him.

:?:

Every other tank? The tanks in between would be nearly stock octane levels bud. The stuff doesn't stay there. You use it with the gas.
