What about going back and forth between OD and D? I do that alot. I shift it into OD on highways then into D on regular roads. Does this hurt the trannies????

I still do that all the time. What I watch for is this: if the car is already in OD I won't shift to D until I get it to downshift out of that gear. I don't want to force gears, that'* partially what hurts it.

Mount joy is 20 minutes from harrisburg. I think Your a little over 2 hours away.

I grew up in wheeling WV which is 45 minutes from pittsburgh.my family all still lives there. When ever I am down to visit them I always make a trip to pittsburgh. I think I will be back that way around christmas.
