Another Throttle Body spacer ?
combustion temps will be a little warmer due to the lack of exhaust gases diluting the air fuel mixture
The SC will raise the inlet air by a constant amount provided the rpm and boost pressure remain constant.
With an intake air temp of 50 F under 0 boost conditions my inlet air after the SC is about 110 F due to recirculation thru the bypass and engine heat conductivity using a 160 F coolant stat.
Under boost conditions WOT, the inlet air after the SC will spike almost instantly to 200 F. If the intake air temp increases to 100 F, the spike will be to 250 F.
If I use my water injection it will knock the temp down to 130 F.
The biggest problem I see is with heat soak after I turn off the engine for a short while and the top end temp rises to 160 F coolant temp, it takes a long long time to come back down to 110 unless I hit it with a lot of water injection. This is where an intercooler would really work well in cooling quicker.
