Default Throttle Body Spacer

I have heard about throttle body spacers. What do they do? Does it help with performance? Would it be worth getting one?

It keeps your air a bit cooler entering intake. You can get one athttp://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/pro...ody_spacer.htm

They don't make vortexes, and vortexes are bad. You want the straightest most laminar airflow possible, These help seperate the TB from the upper intake/supercharger heat, and that keeps them cooler. Only useful on heavily modded engines.
