Hey all this talk about ambient air temps has got me wonderin' just what mine is??

How can I find out??

Put a thermometer outside. That'* where ambiant air temp is. When someone says their IAT is 8* above ambient, it means the air being pulled into the intake is 8 degrees warmer than the air outside the car.
