Heres a comparison between the 95 L36 TB and the ported 99+ TB:

And I'm not sure if I mentioned this on here but if your trying to adapt a L67 TB to the L36 UIM, not only do you have to port match the exit but you have to drill out the 3 stud holes.
With out drilling them out, the bottom of the exit of the TB sits lower then the entrance to the UIM:

But with the stud holes drilled down, so the TB han be lifted up, it will look like this:

That was just a test fit. I cleaned it and put the IAC on before I put everything together.
It feels a little smoother in the midrange and stronger up top.
