Just look at club gp with all the 3.1l GP'*. They put hundreds into there engines and still run 16'*!!! There lucky if they hit 15'*.

The lack of aftermarket support for us sucks absolute crap......
The most modded L27'* have only intakes, exhaust, and nitrous at this point. No one has put 1000'* into it at all. I spend 100 bux crafting my intake, and now i'm MUCH faster. No has delved into these engines much yet. They respond wonderfully, no one has done a lot yet.

Kyle'* the fastest, and I Hope to do some major work this summer.

Don't compare these to 3.1'* either. Totally different engine.

well i gotta jump in the frey on this one ..........beg to differ L27 can be modded.......not a problem stuff is out there headers/cams/rockers/vavles etc....easy to wring hp/tqr from them ...enough to take on SC bonne`* with no problem....with some R&D its a easy built ....i have a long block 3800 outa a 92 SSE sittin in shop my next project ....no blower no turbo ...just plain old school techno...300 hp is atainable with the right combo ...i had a L27 before in my 92 before the new 95 3800 was built well into the 300`* before the N2O shot.........so its not that true that anyone with a L27 can`t built a strong runner ...and 14`* are easy to dip into ...you may have to shell $$$$ but that all depends on what you want outa yur engine ...just more power or plain evil .......

Agreed, anything can be done with money...however I don't think he wants to dump thousands into it, and even if he did wouldnt a swap be better? Do they make CSC'* for that year?

My L27 is extremely responsive for the few mods I've done so far. And still very much more modifiable.

CSC'* are as universal as Turbo'*. If you know what you're doing.
