Well right now i have about $500 to work with but more on the way and i dont know if i want to spend more than $1,500 anyways. And also the cars i want to beat are a T-Bird SuperCoup (not sure which year) 89 camaro Z28, and a 98 eclipse turbo. One of my best friends got the 35th anniversary camaro SS but i got no chance against him So yeah dont know if i can beat any of those cars listed with the price i gave you or even if i had more so thats it.

$500 will get you running with a couple of those. SC pulley, model an intake after one of many intakes here, hi-flow cat, and an aftermarket F-body muffler, and the chip with the 160 thermo you mentioned.

Oh i did have a question. Ive seen things that say that you Have to have the exhaust and intake along with the T-Stat, is that true or would i be fine for a few days or weeks with the chip/stat. And also can anyone tell me by experience or reading how fast my car is compared to lets say a V6 mustang?

It won't hurt anything to run with the stock intake and exhaust. They recommend the upgrades to get the full potential out of the chip.
Your stock car is faster than a stock V6 Mustang. Until the 99, they only had 150 hp, now they have 190, so that would be close.

strange i`m running a Jet STG 2 chip in my 92 SSE from Lordco an auto parts/performance outlet ......hmmmmmmmmmm according to the books he`* got Jet makes chips to fit 92`*...working with $500 ...lets see ...CAI ( cold air induction) 180 thermo stat....and good set of plugs and wires.......and if you can find a good deal on a aftermrkt hiflow muffler....look into the auto recyclers ( wreckers ) always good parts like flowmasters/borla`*/dynomax`* ........ just ask and we`* we try tto steer you in the right direction once you put this on you`ll see a big difference .....we`ll take you stg 2 when your ready to spend more.....
