The roller fulcrum rockers produce less parasitic drag. Supposed to be good for 5hp (considering how many of them there are, this seems reasonable).

Are springs for the 92 the same strength as the 93-on series I? My car does have more power then the 92 SSE i drove, but that thing was dead.

You got me, Jason. I'd think the valve springs would be the same. In theory, your car would be identical in power (+ a little for your rockers), but keep in mind the 92 SSE was EGR-less, and may have been suffering from burnt valves resulting in poor compression. And it weighs a little more than yours.

That 92 was a PIECE!!! Every gasket that the shop looked at was leaking.

I wonder what final drive ratio I have. 1st gear will go to 45mph uder wot and 2nd to 82mph.The chip limits it to 115mph but it cruises easily at 100+. There were so many option pagages with the Olds 88 and I don't know which one I have. :?

Get your RPO codes, we should be able do decifer a few of them for ya. They're on our spare tire cover and are 3 letter/number codes.

Where are they located in a Bonneville? I wouldn't think that its anywhere else in an 88.

I'm starting to woder if this is my spare cover because shows a 1st gen 88(the boxy one). Anyways, the code is F17 and right before it is FE1. Those are the only F codes.
