I forgot to add that since the strut tower braces are a direct fit, the hub distance was the same. I wouldn't think that the geometry of the struts and control arms were any different. The only problem I had is that the left caliper (from the 97 donor) rubbed the inside of the original 90 wheel which is 1/2" narrower in width than the original 97. I grinded the caliper a bit to stop the rubbing but intend on switching wheels in the near future in order to correct a speedometer error.

GTPboy, the 87-91 frame and subframe are nearly identical to the 92-99. They're both H bodies.
I am glad that everything is "close enough" to work in an H-body w/o having any long term issues. That is good info! But when/if we ever have a Bonne come to us, we will have to do our own testing, and when/if that ever happens, all info will be on our website and L67swap.com. Just gotta get a Bonne, and I'm actually workin on it, but it doesnt look good.

Um the W Bodies are ok By me....
But the dimensions of the older H body and the 92-99 H bodies are the same... Its supprising the parts I could swap from my 95 to either of the 91'*.. The 2000+ H bodies were totally redesigned with a lot of their components resembling the G body

Finally spelled out! Someone finally said they are EXACT, not nearly identical.
Nearly identical means (to me), that issues could arise
Exact means-EXACT.
And I dont feel anyone has been and A** so to say in this thread, I was trying to get my point out, and I hope you all understand were I was coming from. And I am extremely happy that a defineate answer came out in the end. I have little to no knowledge of the Bonne setup. So that means I need exact info back from you guys

When we say NEARLY identical, we say it because fenders and doors are not compatible. The frame is exactly the same. Engine mounting differes slightly in 87 IIRC, but later mounts should weld right up.

Its taken us a long while but we have found that the 87-91 and 92-99 H Bodies share a lot in common.. There were some subframe changes for the variation in engine mounts.. But all of the subfram isolator locations are the same... I was tickled pink when Randy wanted the info for the series II swap into his 90 SSE bonneville... And even more tickeld when the dimensions between the 2 service manulas were the same... There were some changes with the CV axles as 93 & later used the larger more Heavy Duty axles... Larger brakes.. And still had the proper bolt holes on the 90 for the torque axis mount, everything bolted right up... I believe he even used the 97 AC System, 97 Maxifuse Relay center...
I'll have to shoot some pics one of these days... The engine compartment between mt 91'* and the 95 are about identical with a few minor exceptions...
On the same note I'm sure that the C Body has the same underpinnings and the same swap coule be done to it as well
