so how should i build it to be able to run mid-upper 8'*. are you saying that the same parts for the 65 will work for the 60. or are there any sites or anything with these 60 specific parts. i've talked to acouple of tranny shops around here(n. alabama); they play dumb. ("naw man they don't got nuthin like that 'round here")

Try to find a shop that actually prides itself in quality work and performance rebuilds. I was lucky enough to find one. He sourced all the parts for me. It took some time though. My car was at the shop for 3 weeks, and he spent nearly 3 days on my valvebody alone.

Not much else I can tell you right now, other than the parts are out there. There have been 2 other builds like this since mine, and another starting soon. All based on my build, and each member was able to find a shop that 'walked the walk and talked the talk'.

The parts aren't out there on the 'net. You can't find them like you find the 65 parts. But the GOOD trans shops know which jobbers to source the stuff from.

On top of this, ASG has been building beefed up 60'* for a couple years, and now www.seriesoneperformance.com sells one. I'm not too familiar with it, but the owner is DrJay here (who I know personally).

I'd have to dig up my reciepts, but it can honestly cost you anywhere from 1500 to 3000 depending on what you have done, and who does the work.
