I think the important question is not if there is torque management.

anyway, I can tell a difference between my 97 4t65E-HD and the one in our 2000. On the 2000 it pulls hard and then slows down just before it shifts, the 97 doesn't do this, and it shifts a little rougher. I like the way the 2000 drives much better than the 97, the shifts feel much better.

same L36 in 00 as 95. Same output, so what'* the dealy?

L26 is the new short word "thingy" for the L36.
