I think the important question is not if there is torque management.
The important question is why did boat only had 1 hand on the keyboard at a car site?!?!?!

anyway, I can tell a difference between my 97 4t65E-HD and the one in our 2000. On the 2000 it pulls hard and then slows down just before it shifts, the 97 doesn't do this, and it shifts a little rougher. I like the way the 2000 drives much better than the 97, the shifts feel much better.
