And that'* the factory spec. These engines have been known to put out a lot more torque than what it is rated at.

Sheer hp and tq numbers are not basis for that comparison. Gear ratios, standard vs auto, etc etc are all factors that have to be considered.

HOWEVER, your SSEi should kill a V6 Camaro easily.

First to stay within the rules these happened at my friends job (a big sand quarrey)

My friend has a 98 camaro v6...

From a dig we are dead even, he gets me by a little off the line because he hooks right away but by 80 its a dead even match, from a 20mph pull I keep him about 1/2 car behind my back bumper through 70 so being you have an SSEI you shouldnt have any problem putting him in his place.

My 97' pulled 260 hp and 335 tq at the dyno stock. I think most Bonnys are around that stock because the exaust is much better than its W- Body little brother (GTP). The Grand Prix GTP'* have a nasty U bend in the exaust that is VERY restrictive. I can see them being closer to that factory 240/ 280. However, I think every on of these Ser 2 L67'* is underrated.
