Default 1998 custom burn at ZZP

Just e-mailed Zoomer at ZZPerformance. He said I can get my PCM custom burned with:

1.Two minute fan turn on after the car shuts down.

2.Raised shift points.

3.Increased tranny line pressure.

4.possible perferd shift?

5.Raised speed limiter.

My car is a 1998 Bonneville SE 3.8 series II engine. Vin#"K".
The price they quoted me was $300 dollars U.*.
I am going to do it.

Which number will give you the best performance gain, or did they say anything about some extra juice with this chip?

I didn't ask about the performance gain, but if its anything like the Digital Horse Power unit that ZZ performance sells; then it'll be worth it. I already have one in my Grand Prix SE/GT and it works well with the mods I have. As for extra power..... don't know about that, but it really wakes the car up as far as bringing the most out of what you have. I'd say that you may gain about 6 or 7 horse power from that moddification alone. As most stuff like this tends to do; it makes the other mods work better together. All you have to do is look at my sig. to see the difference in performance of mt two cars. If I took out the DHP then the GP would't perform as well. I will keep you all updated.

We'll be covering all 1997 through 2003 Bonnevilles by the end of June. 2000 and 2002 is already supported. Our current PCM price is $169.99 plus core plus shipping.

Please email ScottC@INTENSE-Racing.com for more information.

The guy at ZZP that is doing the PCM'* I'm pretty sure is Dave Buckshaw, which is one fo the DHP programmers. He has a '96 SSEi that is his daily driver so he has had a little time to tweak the PCM a little and he has come up with a GREAT code for it, and I'm pretty sure he said that it is basically exactly the same for at least the 96-99'*, maybe even the 2000+.
