Default 1993 SSEI virtually no options?

I have recently bought a 1993 SSEI, and after purchasing it, found that almost no performance sites carry parts for 3800 series 1. Am i missing something, or are the options for this model year truly that terrible? I heard that i could go a few sizes smaller on my supercharger pulley without too much hassel, but beyond that, nothing. I am looking to spend roughly $2000 or so.

Thanks

the series one has a very limited aftermarket, being that its a pretty old engine now. There are pulleys and rockers available, after that most of the stuff is custom

So what are my options, as far as performance goes?

well you could get a smaller supercharger pulley here... Pulley Boys - GMS1

and here are the high ratio roller rockers... ZZ Performance

i had good luck making an intake out of intense racings custom tubing and a k&n cone filter from them. there are other guys on here that have done the same heres the link to it... INTENSE-Racing.com: 3800 - Induction

as for exhaust the guys favor the magnaflow high flow cats and its always a debate for a magnaflow or flowmaster crossflow f body muffler(camaro muffler). if you decide to go magnaflow i would suggest the site Magnaflow Exhaust Systems And Performance Mufflers - Justmagnaflow.com

oh and make sure you get a 180* thermostat too, also the option for a drilled one, which is what i did. heres the link to the thermostat... ZZ Performance

hope this gets you started in the right direction, i know i was surprised to find out that my options were limited after i bought my 95 ssei too. let us know if you need more help

hmm....so, with the parts listed above, what kind of increase in HP are we talking? i am pretty much buying the 95 from my girlfriend and the 95'* are rated at 225 hp. could the pcm be tuned to get more power? also, are the stock internals on a 3800 series 1 L67 forged at the factory?

GS'* are great. Lots of power being the series 2 and plenty of creature comforts.
