The way I've been finding salvaged Bville'* lately I've had a wild idea cross my mind -finding one that was hit in the rear, strip all the front body panels off, doors, trunk, interior, bumper covers, lights, etc.. and trailer it to the drag strip. Think I could pull a high 14 second 1/4 in a 2400-2600 lb L27 B-ville SE? Slap a CAI on it, some skinnies on the rear, and some good 245/50/16'* on a pair of GP 16x8 crosslaces.
I'm keeping an eye on the auction as I suspect I can probably get a plain-jane 1993-1994 SE for around $2-300 with rear end or side damage (just don't want coolers damaged).
Think it'* doable?
What would even be sweeter is if I could get a 1995 SE with the Series II and 3.06 axle ratio to dip down deep into the low-mid 14'*.

Uh no! I dont think that will be enough weight loss to get that kind of speed but its worth a try. Wait you want to take the doors and trunk off completely? Why would you even wanna race that? lol
