Default 1/8 Mile and 0-60.....

The only local dragstrip track around here is an 1/8th of a mile. What am I looking at running with my 1993 SE bonneville with the subs and boxes out, with:

-15 inch rims
-2.84 (or something like that gear ratio)
-Cheap exhuast (Cherry Bomb muffler, not glasspack. no popping from this thing.)

in an 1/8th of a mile? I think it should be slower than most SE'*, because of the gear ratio right?

What if I added an intake, maybe a little quicker?

Take in mind, I have done some work to help get the HP back to stock numbers, with new plug wires, plugs, pcv, valve cover gaskets to stop oil leaks, and a few others.

What do yall think I could run?

Go out and time yourself with a stopwatch to get an idea.

I'm gonna guess about 7.5 - 8 seconds 1/8th mile time. I'm just randomly pulling a number out of my *** but for some reason I think I could be in the right figure.

I know there are calculators out there for converting hp to times, 1/8 mi. to 1/4 mi. , etc. but I don't think your numbers are correct. I had a '97 Z28 that ran 13.1 @ 106 (before heads + cam ) w/ 2.23 60'. The timeslip says 8.82 @ 83.62 mph in the 1/8th.
I ran against a 69 Road Runner who posted 12.60 1/4. His 1/8th was 8.1@85.

dont you think I would be slower, because of the gear ratio of 2.84, not 3.05?
